Seizo-san's juxtaposition of the traditional with the ultra modern often times can be jarring in an amusing and light hearted way! This drawing of Sai-san vacuuming while wearing kimono I find to be one such image.

The manga series "Sai" is filled with such representations. The portrayal of a loving couple who insist on preserving (and living) a traditional lifestyle in the middle of a big city has undoubtedly made the manga very popular with those who are properly nostalgic for Japan's past.
