This
exhibition will present just some of the manga
cover artworks that I've found to be impressive.
It should by no means be considered an all
inclusive look at the various artistic styles
employed as cover art. To bring together such
a collection is beyond the scope of this presentation.
Walk into any Japanese bookstore and you'll
find a dizzying array of colorful manga. These
small paperback books that Westerners would
dismiss as nothing more than comics would
be better described as "graphic novels."
