Fans of the amazing series, Vision of Escaflowne will
recognize this fellow as being dressed as Van Fanel,
the King of Fanelia and pilot of the Guymelef Escaflowne.
The cosplayer wears the garb of Van-sama as he appeared in
the latest Escaflowne movie, A Girl in Gaea.
This
fellow was part of a troupe of a dozen or so Japanese Cosplayers
who came all the way to L.A. for the convention. Most of the
troupe were dressed as characters from the Samurai adventure
series, Rurouni Kenshin.
