Watase Yu, the artist responsible for having created
Fushigi Yuugi and Ayashi no Ceres, made a special
appearance at the convention. Around 500 people filled the
hall and the event kicked off with Miss Watase immediately
taking questions from the audience. The artist, addressing
the numbers of fans who attended dressed in the costumes of
her manga characters, said, "You're Amazing." Miss
Watase spoke for over an hour, and revealed that there are
plans for 4 original animation video releases based on her
Seishi novels. That bit of news got the crowd howling
with delight!
