BACK TO THE BLACK MOON'S ANIME EXPO PAGE

One afternoon I ran into a large group of people involved in a very elaborate cosplay... only their source of inspiration was not anime, but a genre of Japanese Rock known as Visual Kei. While most cosplayers dress as anime characters, this group preferred to mimic their favorite J-Rock Stars! The Visual Kei movement has become a driving force in Japan's music and fashion scenes, and while it looks somewhat akin to the West's Glam or Goth Rock scene, it's unlike anything known in the West. This young woman wore a beautiful full dress of black vinyl and flowing lace.
